Yay!

I did a lot of research, checked out the artist, went through their portfolio. It is not a decision to be made overnight. I seriously have thought about this for 10 years. LOL I wanted to be sure that it was not a mistake FOR ME. My son has several tattoos and when I mentioned we should go together, it was his idea to have the same words placed on his tattoo. I chose to have it somewhere that I could see it, but couldn't be seen when dressed for work. If you are serious, see a professional artist, they should be able to assess whether it would be appropriate for your skin type and age. Disclaimer...I am in no way saying that you are too old!! LOL No matter how "acceptable" tattoos have become, it is a very personal decision. And there is a difference between a tasteful tattoo and...whatever that was. LOL I see tattoos every day at work that all I can say is...bless your heart. And why do you have a picture of a demon on your face? LOL (I'm not kidding about that one.)Angela Tuckerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02483920154677722934noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7495416712956662358.post-41868607815815226612017-01-13T06:11:44.961-08:002017-01-13T06:11:44.961-08:00I think the last time I did ceramics...I was in se...I think the last time I did ceramics...I was in second grade. LOL

And that would be why I am putting the tattoo on my ankle. LOL Shouldn't be much sag there. I'm planning on a watercolor piece, no bigger than four inches. The artist reminded me that watercolor has a tendency to fade. I told her that was okay, I only needed it for another 20 years...I think I creeped her out. A lot of the country back roads are closed, or open to locals only. You're still able to get around, just need to be a little inventive. I wish I could tag along to those thrift shops with you.
What a perfect sentiment for you both to express in tattoo form. I've always wanted a tattoo. I usually wear bracelets and I thought of getting a thin ring of flowers put around my wrist, but I don't know if it would fade and look line a line of dirt with time. It is interesting to me that the more primitive and "rough" the project is, the harder he works to get it that way. We are a lot alike when it comes to color, though he is a much better artist than me. Rather not destroy a tattoo parlor in my haste to get out of there!! Lol

I love the idea of 'be kind' as a tattoo. It is very true and something the world needs to remember.

The ceramic wares are pretty! And your scarf - gorgeous!!! If I was your son, I'd keep it too if someone declined it!!!

Have a great day :)Rachelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00074597722929095455noreply@blogger.com
