We used it in case of emergency and I use it in some of my bread recipes.

LOL at the real cow experience. Yes, I suppose I have! But, I enjoyed the experiences at the end that eats better than the other end! LOL I will have to post my thoughts on changing sprinkler pipes in the summer and why you don't wear shoes. I see so many all around here but I've never ever milked one or gotten that close really. Growing up milk was in bottles and delivered to the door but I also remember something called milk powder. Is that possible? Anyway, hope you had a great outing and break for yourself. Oh and I love those pinwheels.Jocelyn is Canadian Needle Nanahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11770193529950365462noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7495416712956662358.post-47306693036212338282015-09-07T18:07:22.042-07:002015-09-07T18:07:22.042-07:00I was never very good milking by hand. While Dad milked, I would hang out and chat. I loved the extra time with him. But, you had to be pretty careful at that end. When cows decide to "go", they "go". LOL That part is not so bad, but it was always on their tails and they LOVE to smack you with it as you walked by. Ahhh, the memories of youth. We would leave pre-paid tokens in the empty bottles by the back porch and the milkman would replace with full bottles. And lord help whoever forgot to put the sign in the window and grandma had no milk.
