Merry Christmas Eve

Merry Christmas Eve from the rancho!

I hope that each of you spend the holiday with those you love and are blessed and happy in the new year.

Perform random acts of kindness.  Smile more, frown less. Slow down the journey, enjoy the scenery. Pick the wildflowers.  Hug your friends whenever you get the chance, tell your loved ones how much they mean to you.  Eat that extra piece of fudge really slow....savor life!

Be kind to one another.

  1. Merry Christmas to you and yours as well sweet friend. :) I wish for you all the above and that 2016 will be the year of great joy and much happiness, too. No worries on that extra piece of fudge...I ate the first one too fast, so I figured, I needed to get another one so I could savor it (like you said)...and it was a small piece, so I got yet another one (I think we all see where this is going, right?). :) Merry, Merry Christmas!

    1. Oh my goodness, Vickie...my husband LOVES kringle. He has me start stalking Trader Joe's beginning in early November. That is the only place in our area that they can found. I bought him three for our anniversary. He ate one the first week, the other two are in the freezer. LOL And yes, they sure are tasty. LOL

Hope you had an amazing day with family.

  4. I hope you could spend a wonderful Christmas Eve and Day with your loved ones.
We didn't have a lot of sweets although Christmas cookies are nearly a must in German households. But I don't like baking so there are Christmas cookies in this house only when my daughter visits, lol.

    1. Good morning, Brigitte. It was very quiet this weekend, but my son comes home for a visit on January 1st. A wonderful New Year's gift! I haven't made cookies in a long time and only make fudge during the holidays. Thank goodness, I do love sweets! LOL

  5. Hi Angela. I went to make your fudge and realized I needed cream which I didn't have and being in the middle of a snow storm, was not venturing outside the door, sooo. Hubby was not happy because even though he is quite deaf he had heard the word fudge. Lol Hope you are having some days off to get your feet up. Think of me here in my now white wintry world.

    1. LOL We call it "selective" hearing at our house. I had a three day weekend for Christmas, so I got a bit of time to myself. This weekend is another three day...sooooo....I'm hoping to some stitching, knitting, crocheting time in!
